An Engagement and an Addiction

My sister is engaged!! To a wonderful, outgoing gentleman. I am so excited that he and his son, Drake will be part of our family soon!

While wedding dress shopping, I got ahold of my sis's DSLR. I have never been the photographer in the family...just like I am the only one in the family that doesn't read novels and play piano. I couldn't imagine I would like the DSLR...too intimidating with a lot of buttons, switches, and lenses! I couldn't get enough! I was shocked. I think I snapped 50 shots within a few minutes. It was amazing to see different angles and light and I was intrigued to learn more.
